Located in the village of Baddeck, the Green Highlander Lodge is an ideal place to stay to enjoy all that Cape Breton has to offer. The world famous Cabot Trail and Historic Fortress of Louisbourg are easy day trips from Baddeck. The theme of the Green Highlander Lodge is fly fishing and we invite you to relax and enjoy our decor of log siding, hardwood floors, artwork, photography, a cozy fireplace, and great books for browsing. Each of the 3 suites is named after a classic salmon fly.

We also rent a cozy waterside cottage, located two miles down the Baddeck Bay Road.

You can easily walk to all of the gift shops and amenities in Baddeck from our convenient location. The local dock is across the street and from there you can take harbour cruises or visit our local beach. The Alexander Graham Bell Museum is a short 5 min stroll and the Bras d'Or Lakes Preservation Foundation has an informative and interactive Information Centre located in the historic 'Old Post Office' Building across the street. For the golfer, you are just a 5 min drive from Bell Bay Golf Club.

*Our lodge is a smoke-free environment*

We invite all of our guests to sit and relax in the Green Highlander room. The room has many books and pictures to look at and many comfortable places to sit and relax, read or plan for the next days adventures. Enjoy the comfortable decor and ambiance that is... the Green Highlander Lodge.
